Competing in one of the toughest NAIA conferences in the nation, the Faulkner Lady Eagles and head coach Tori Bartels continue to build a program that is making strides toward regional and national prominence. With one of the nicest facilities in the Southern States Athletic Conference in Tine Davis Gymnasium, the Lady Eagles play a brand of volleyball that has energized the Faulkner student body, with large and spirited crowds at matches certainly providing the team with a big home-court advantage. Bartels’ team grade-point average is always one of the tops in the country, solidifying her commitment to seeing that her players excel. In addition, Bartels was the gold-medal winning head coach for Alabama’s Special Olympics Unified Team at the World Summer Games last summer in Los Angeles.

"Our program is looking for spiritual, academic and athletic leaders. We strive for excellence not only on the court, but campus-wide as well as throughout our community. We believe in building leaders and the professors, administration, staff, social clubs and church life all play crucial roles in reaching that goal. Faulkner offers our student-athletes unparalleled opportunities in these key areas. Our program continues to raise the bar on the floor as well, and our goal never changes from year-to-year and that is to compete for championships." - Head Coach, Tori Bartels
